I am a learning consultant specializing in communities of practice, networks and social learning systems. I’m best known for my pioneering work in international settings, learning across boundaries, and the use of social media. My work with technology includes the design of an Open Source platform for networked communities.

I often work with Etienne Wenger. Together we offer the “BEtreat” a cutting-edge workshop for leaders of communities and networks in Grass Valley, California.
